Got a pile of metal? We'll come help.

Scouts do the cleanup. Finding Gilwell takes it to the yard and collects the cash as your donation — you don't have to come along. That gift sends kids to summer camp.

How a cleanup works

  • We come to you

    Scouts clean the metal off your property as community service, with two-deep adult leadership. We'll leave the household trash for another day.

  • Old cars are welcome

    That car sitting in the side yard is welcome. A title is a nice bonus if you still have it. But if it's more than 10 years old, the yard will not require a title.

  • You can stay home

    Adults haul it to Indian River Salvage. You don't have to go to the yard or collect a check.

  • Finding Gilwell collects the cash

    That payout is your gift to Finding Gilwell, Inc. It sends Troop 532 to summer camp. A written acknowledgment is available as requested.

Donating an A/C condensing unit or air handler? Say so here — Florida law requires a copy of the replacement receipt or the yard cannot take it.
